The Firm

Michael has been practicing law in the Coachella Valley since 2006. From 2015 – 2018, Michael was a partner with Guralnick, Gilliland and Knighten.

Beginning in 2022, Michael formed a new law firm: Knighten PC. The firm’s legal practice focuses on representing Homeowner Associations in all aspects of their business and real estate matters, from corporate counsel to litigation and trials. Michael has taken numerous cases to trial (both judge and jury trials) on behalf of Homeowner Associations and other business clients.
Michael is an active member of the legal community and serves as the counselor of the Warren Slaughter – Richard Roemer Inn of Court, which works to improve the skills, professionalism, and ethics of the bench and bar. Michael also volunteers his time as an arbitrator for the Desert Bar Association as well as a director for the Desert Symphony.
